Celtic sign Charly Musonda on loan
On Monday night the deal was confirmed.
Belgian midfielder Charly Musonda has joined Celtic on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
Musonda, 21-years-old, has been on the books of Chelsea since 2012, when he joined the club’s academy from Anderlecht.
The gifted attacking midfielder/winger has long been regarded as one of the finest talents in the youth ranks of the Blues, but he’s been unable to break into the Blues first team.
Musonda had appeared just six times for Chelsea this season (two starts), contributing one goal and one assist this campaign.
He’s now agreed to join Celtic on an extended 18-month loan deal.

Charly Musonda severs social media ties with Chelsea
The day after the Musonda deal was signed, sealed and delivered, the footballer has been active on social media.
In a sign of how Musonda views Chelsea, the youngster has culled his social media followers on Instagram.
Musonda has unfollowed the majority of Chelsea’s first team on Instagram, including the official Chelsea account.
At the same time the Belgian international has become a follower of all-things Celtic on the social media platform.
If you were betting on it, it seems highly unlikely that Musonda will ever play for Chelsea again.
