Icardi Sergio Ramos has reportedly decided he thinks Real Madrid need to sign Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi – and not Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, with the player linked to the La Liga giants following his sensational rise to fame. Kane himself has claimed he’s happy at Spurs, but that he thinks the club need to match his ambitions – and quite if they can do it is another matter altogether, and the links with Real have refused to go away. However, the players themselves reportedly prefer the Inter forward and given the power Sergio Ramos has at the club and his close relationship with Florentio Perez, that may well stop any move for Kane. The chances of Spurs allowing their star player to leave just before they move to their new stadium are also remote, yet if they miss out on the top four, something that seems likely at the minute, it may be the case that Kane does look for an exit route. Manchester United have announced the signing of goalkeeper Matej Kovar from Czech club FC Slovacko, subject to international clearance. The 17-year-old has not made a first-team appearance for FC Slovacko in the Czech First League, but has represented the Czech Republic on two occasions at under-18s level. According to a statement on the club’s website Kovar will join the United academy once he has gained clearance and will then link up with the club’s under-18s team.
