Sergio Ramos makes key Harry Kane decision for Real Madrid

Icardi Sergio Ramos has reportedly decided he thinks Real Madrid need to sign Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi – and not Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane, with the player linked to the La Liga giants following his sensational rise to fame. Kane himself has claimed he’s happy at Spurs, but that he thinks the club need to match his ambitions – and quite if they can do it is another matter altogether, and the links with Real have refused to go away. However, the players themselves reportedly prefer the Inter forward and given the power Sergio Ramos has at the club and his close relationship with Florentio Perez, that may well stop any move for Kane. The chances of Spurs allowing their star player to leave just before they move to their new stadium are also remote, yet if they miss out on the top four, something that seems likely at the minute, it may be the case that Kane does look for an exit route. Pochettino One thing Real Madrid are possibly planning on doing is getting rid of Zinedine Zidane, which would be madness considering how well he’s done for the club, but it looks like being a season without trophies, and that could well mean the club look to replace their manager. Top of the list to replace him is reportedly Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino, and it seems that the manager could well want to take Harry Kane with him – and that would throw a spanner in the works of the decision Ramos has reportedly made, but either way it looks like Karim Benzema could be on his way out of the club after a very poor season – and fans have even questioned the future of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, with the latter having struggled with injury and fitness since

Kovar said: “Manchester United is one of the best clubs in the world, and it shows in the quality of its players.” The 17-year-old added: “Among my great experiences [while on trial] was that I was struggling with the door to the training hall and met José Mourinho. And I sat next to Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the bench in the cabin. It was also great to see the training area of United.” Kovar spent a week on trial at United taking part in daily two-stage training with both the under-18 and under-23 sides. Leicester forward Islam Slimani filmed arriving in Newcastle ahead of move loan move

Leicester City striker Islam Slimani looks set to complete a loan move to the Newcastle United after the Algerian was filmed landing at Newcastle airport. Slimani, 29, could be seen getting out of a private jet, set to undergo a medical this afternoon, with Newcastle having reached an agreement to loan him for the remainder of the season. The Algerian has started just two league matches this season, and is reportedly deemed surplus to requirements by new manager Claude Puel. Here’s video of Islam Slimani landing at Newcastle Airport (you may need to zoom 🧐🤷‍♂️) pic.twitter.com/vKbMmUXNwK — Keith Downie (@SkySports_Keith) January 31, 2018 The move comes after a training ground injury looked set to ruin any potential transfer for Slimani, but Newcastle have pushed the deal through with Benitez desperate to bolster his attacking options. And with Alexsandar Mitrovic all but confirmed to complete a move away from St. James’ Park today, with Anderlecht already agreeing to loan the Serb, the move comes as a relief for Newcastle fans with their side still in relegation trouble. Slimani joined the Foxes after their historic Premier League winning season, becoming a club-record signing in 2016 joining from Sporting Lisbon for £28m. Since then the striker has endured a difficult period in English football, failing to adapt to the demands of the league and struggling to reinvigorate the form that made him one of Europe’s most sought after strikers. Puel has no objections to Slimani leaving, despite already allowing striker Leonardo Ulloa to leave the King Power Stadium this window, and he faces a tough fight to keep Slimani’s Algerian counterpart Riyad Mahrez, as Manchester City step up their chase. Leicester City face a difficult trip to Merseyside this evening, as Puel’s men take on Sam Allardyce’s Everton side at Goodison Park.
